Cry of Fear originally started out as a MOD of Half-Life 1 and eventually turned into this standalone horror game that is not for the faint of heart. You play as a man who finds himself in a deserted town that is full of horrific creatures and must find out what is going on. Not everything is as it seems in Cry of Fear because as you play, you fall deeper into madness and began to have delusions that seem real.

Dagon: by H. P. Lovecraft

Dagon: by H.P. Lovecraft is a 3D narrative experience that is based of off H.P. Lovecraft’s short story by the same name. You play as a morphine addicted former ship officer who has to navigate the horrors of the Cthulhu Mythos. The game is only about 30 minutes long, but will give you a full introduction into the Lovecraftian world and tell you the origins of Cthulhu. The game is also VR compatible, giving you a completely immersive experience to the cosmic horror that is the Cthulhu Mythos.

Ginkgo is a 3D puzzle horror game that is inspired by the world of East Asian horror. You play as a man with a magic needle who must travel through a dreamlike world and piece it together with your needle and thread to complete puzzles and outsmart monsters. Ginkgo only has about 20-40 minutes of play time, but it was only developed as a demo by students in the USC Games Program.

Deceit is a multiplayer first person shooter that takes inspiration from Among Us and Dead by Daylight. You are one of six players in the game and you play as either a character that is innocent or a character that has been infected virus. The innocents need to escape, while the players infected with the virus need to kill them. The game uses interesting mechanics that allow innocents to deduce who is infected and gives infected players the ability to cover up the suspicious behaviors.

We Went Back is a time-looping horror game that takes place on an abandoned space station. You need to escape the space station by finding clues and solving a puzzle, similar to an escape room. He Needs His Medicine is a short pixel based horror game that has 6 different endings to play through. You play as a police officer who is dispatched to an apartment, but once you arrive, you realize that something is really wrong. You encounter a weird creature that asks you to give him his last dose of medicine, but first you need to gather up the ingredients and combine them for the creature. The ingredients you use determines which ending you get.
