League of LEGO – Could It Be True?

League of Legends and LEGO?  Yes, please!  What could be better than combining these two amazing hobbies?  When it comes to LEGO and League of Legends coming together, we have good news and bad news.  Bad news first, their is no official LEGO League of Legends kits or minifigures.  Don’t worry about the bad news though, the good news is twice as awesome!

Decool League of Legends Minifigs

LEGO may not be creating League of Legends minifigs, but Chinese toy brick manufactorer, Decool, has an entire line of LoL minifigs on the market.  Decool has released 3 sets of minifigs including: Shen, Renekton, Amumu, Nidalee, Ryze, Brand, Warwick, Gangplank, Tryndamere, Zed, Katarina, Garen, Xin Xhao, Pantheon, Ezreal, Akali, and Lee Sin.  You cannot buy the minifigs in stores in the US, so your best bet is to find a seller on eBay.

LEGO League of Legends Stopmotion

Next up, we have some truly great creations from the fans of the two products.  Check out two stop motion LEGO videos made by danmovproduction below.

League of Legends LEGO Cuusoo

LEGO Cuusoo creator, Addam, designed a LoL kit named ‘Raid on Baron Nashor’.  The set includes 4 champions, Baron Nashor, 1 vision ward, and some terrain.  The design reached the required 10,000 votes to be considered by LEGO, but LEGO decided not to produce the set.

Review Results for League of Legends of LEGO – The Raid on Baron Nashor
Our team has thoroughly considered the possibility of releasing this project as a LEGO set according to the criteria of the LEGO Review. Unfortunately the LEGO Review Board has decided that we will not produce this project as a set.

Perhaps one day RIOT Games will option the League of Legends license to LEGO, but as for right now Decool’s LEGO knock offs and fan creations are the best alternative we have.
